Blue Cairn of Ladieswell

Hidden in deep forest, ankle deep in moss, lies Blue Cairn RSC. A large cairn occupies the centre, with an unusual square enclosure. The recumbent has a perfectly flat top. Most of the standing stones were removed. Some lie furlorn in the corner of a field and in a dyke.

Its famous outlier - a monolith of quartz, cracked from five thousand years exposure to Nature's elements - has the presence of a very serious Saint. The recumbent is notable for having an absolutely perfect flat face. An astonishing mirror to heaven.
